How to Post Photos on the Internet and in Messages

We get this question a lot. There are a number of ways to do this but for the sake of simplicity I am going to give you the easiest method. As always if you have any questions please feel free to me email we with any questions at steve@plasticnavy.com.

1 st you need to have a place to post your pictures on the internet. There is number of online service as well as the liars club at http://www.plasticnavy.com/gallery Please feel free to post your fishing related pictures there.

How do I upload my photos to the liars club?

Answer: Go to http://www.plasticnavy.com/gallery/liars2 click on the drop down menu in the upper right hand corner of the page. Select the add photos option in the drop down menu. Doing this we launch a java application that will allow you to select the photos from your computer to upload.

Here is what the java application looks like. At the bottom left hand corner of the window you will see a button labeled Add Picture.

Now all you need to do is navigate to the folder on your computer where you have stored your pictures. Select the picture(s) that you would like to upload and click the Add button located in the lower right hand corner of the window.

After you click on the Add button you will be brought back to the main window of the java application. Your photo selection is now listed on the left hand site of the application. All that needs to be done is to click the Upload button .

Next you will get a status bar telling you how far along your upload is in the process. Once the status bar has disappears the hard part is over.

Next you will want to logon to the message board and give us a killer write up about your day on big blue. Please provide as much detail as you can. You are the life blood of this message board. The more information you provide better!

Now for the fun part! How do you insert you pictures into your report? It’s really easy. All you have to do is locate your picture(s) in the liars club www.plasticnavy.com/gallery/liars2 and right mouse click on your picture and move your mouse to properties and left click. New pictures are placed on Page 1 by default.

This will bring up the properties page for your picture. We are looking for universal resources locator for this picture or url for short. Select the entire address and right mouse clicking and select copy. Now you have the address and you are ready to paste that into your post.

Next all you need to do is go back to your post and select the img button. This will put a tag [img] within your post Now all you need to do is right mouse click and paste your pictures url next to the [img] tag. Click the [img] button once more to close the tag.

Please note that you can post more than one picture per post. Also you can insert a picture anywhere within your report. At the beginning the middle or the end. I will leave that up to you. Now all that is left is for you to click on the submit button at the bottom of the page.
