Parking
A very large parking area is rarely full here. This is a popular park, especially in the summer so arriving early is always a good idea. This is another location to watch the winds - it usally blows to the south or west in the afternoons here.

Fishing Description

Moored sailboats provide good bass fishing but a few live-aboards don't always appreciate the finer art of kayak angling and have been known to complain about anglers in their "yard". Have no fear to fish here, it's public waters through and through.

The canals reaching inwards provide a unique venue for targeting brackish dwelling fish and the large flats out towards the center of the bay can provide non-stop fishing action.
