High cruising speed, ease of rigging, the tankwell design, its light weight, quite ride, and its sleek look

Launching through the surf can be a pain in the butt on this kayak. The cockpit drains painfully slow. So if you take a wave over the bow the kayak fills with water and becomes less stable and sluggish in the surf.
