1.How long have been fishing the kayak?
One year 4 months

2. Why did you choose this boat?
Stability, dryness and storage.

3. Have you owned other boats? Which? In what order? Discuss your progression.
I had an ocean kayak “drifter”

4. What are the tradeoffs of this kayak?

5. What are the strengths of this kayak?
It’s unsinkable; I once forgot to put my drain plug in on a choppy day and realized that I had several gallons of water in it. By the time I got to shore it had at least 20 gallons. I felt pretty safe the whole way in.

6. What is the one thing that keeps it above the rest in your mind?
It’s overall fishability. It has awesome deck space and storage to do whatever you want. Definitely a big fish platform.

7. Anything else?
A lot of people seem to think that it is better for a kayak to go over a wave when launching rather than thru it like the extreme does. I don’t think that is enough of a reason to pass up all the benefits of this boat, in fact it doesn’t bother me at all. I know I’m getting out with no chance of tipping over or flipping over backwards every time I launch.
