1. How long have been fishing the kayak?

I fished this boat for about 5 months before moving to a larger kayak.

2. Why did you choose this boat?

I chose this boat becasue it was a good deal and i liked the way it looked and luckily I chose a great little boat when I bought it.

3. Have you owned other boats? Which? In what order? Discuss your
progression.

I now own a Malibu Pro Explorer and an OK Scrambler. The Cobra Explorer was my first boat but for my size it was just too small for me and I had to give it up. While i had the boat it got a crack in the bottom and Cobra, no questions asked, sent me a new boat to replace the broken one.

4. What are the tradeoffs of this kayak?

This kayak is really quite small although it is a great boat. If the boat was just larger it would be awsome. Becasue of the small size it does not have the center bar or a lot of good rod holder mounnting spots. Also the small size makes for a small tankwell. I'd like to see this kayak made XF like the FnD was.

5. What are the strengths of this kayak?

This boat is fast in my opinion and was pretty damn stable, i was able to stand and fish on the boat. Also Cobra has the AWeSOME warranty on there kayaks and it is lifetime in case anything ever happens to it.

6. What is the one thing that keeps it above the rest in your mind?

The boat is small making it great for kids or people that dont want a large boat however it is stable and fast. For a kid or a beginner looking for an inexpensive boat that does well this is an awsome choice. It is light so just about anybody can easily carry it.
